5 Things to see and do in Paris

Hey guys, so I decided to continue my 5 Things to see and do series with 5 Things to see and do in Paris. So without further ado, let’s get to it.

Eiffel Tower

The tower is incredible to look at and the surrounding area is beautiful. I would 100% recommend going up the tower either to the first floor or all the way to the top, as the views from these levels are breathtaking. If you are wanting to go up the tower I would recommend booking in advance to avoid the queues.

Arc de Triomphe

Next on this list and the near neighbour of the Eiffel Tower is the Arc de Triomphe. I would recommend climbing the 100+ steps to the top because the view is incredible and you get an ariel view of Paris with the Eiffel Tower in, which you can’t do at the Eiffel Tower. You do have to pay entrance as you do with the Eiffel Tower, however at the Arc, if you are an EU Citizen under 26 and have proof of this, entrance is free.

Notre Dame

20882667_10208254530075892_7307107828619410618_nNotre Dame is beautiful and as is the surrounding area. As with the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe you can go to the top of the towers for a small fee. However, if you want to admire the beauty of it, I would recommend staying outside or just going in to view the inside..

Palace of Versailles

Although I didn’t get to visit Versailles I wish I did. It is a little way outside of the centre of Paris but most definitely worth a visit. When planning your visit it is worth noting that you should allow time to get there and that the palace is closed on Mondays. If you can I would 100% recommend a visit.

Louvre

Image may contain: outdoorThe Louvre is the place to be for art lovers or for people like me who want to say they have seen the Mona Lisa in person. The museum is quite confusing but well worth getting lost in as everything in there is incredible. As with the Arc de Triomphe if you are an EU Citizen and under 26 entrance is free.

That’s it for this post but stay tuned for more posts coming soon! Hope you enjoyed!
